Dussehra pre celebration

Vijayadashami, also known as Dussehra, marks the end of the Navratri festival and is observed with various traditions and rituals. The festival commemorates the victory of good over evil, drawing its significance from the epic Ramayana. On this day, Rama's victory over the demon king Ravana, who had abducted Rama's wife, Sita, is celebrated. Rama, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, defeats and kills Ravana, symbolizing the triumph of righteousness.
In some places, effigies of Ravana are burned with fireworks to represent the destruction of evil.
